Who the programme is for

If you teach an exam offered on PrepSim, you can apply to be listed in its instructor directory. The discovery pilot is free and available to adults aged 18 and over. Candidates also confirm that they are adults before requesting a connection.

Choose the exams you actually teach, such as IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, TOEIC, CELPIP, UGC NET or entrance exams. Describe your teaching languages, experience and approach so candidates can make an informed choice.

Create an account and apply

Open the instructor application using the link below. Sign in or create a PrepSim account, then verify your email when prompted. The application uses the same account as practice tests; you do not need a separate instructor login.

  • Enter the public display name you want candidates to see.
  • Explain your teaching approach and relevant experience. Qualifications are optional and self-declared.
  • Select your exam specialties and enter your teaching languages.
  • Confirm that you are at least 18, then send your application for review. Keep phone numbers, email addresses and external links out of public profile fields.

What manual approval means

Applications and profile edits are reviewed before publication. You can check the status under Your coaching. Approval permits a directory listing; it is not an independent verification of qualifications, an exam-board endorsement or a guarantee of teaching quality.

If an edit needs revision, your previous approved profile can remain visible. A suspended listing is hidden. Do not assume that submitting an application makes your profile public immediately.

How candidates find and select you

Candidates can filter the directory by exam, teaching language and whether an instructor is accepting requests. When a suitable approved instructor is accepting requests, completed assessments can also offer a link to instructors for that exam.

You control whether you accept new requests. A candidate chooses an exam and requests a connection; you can accept or decline it under Your coaching. Each candidate can have one pending or active instructor connection per exam. Either side can end an active connection.

What a connection shares today

A connection request shares the candidate’s display name and selected exam. It does not give you access to their assessment, answers, essays, recordings or private account information.

The current release provides discovery and connections. Assessment sharing, private discussions, lesson booking, payments and notifications are not available in this pilot. Listing is free; PrepSim does not promise student enquiries, income or a particular exam result.

Make your profile useful

Be specific about whom you help and how you teach. For example, describe the exam tasks you cover, the languages you teach in and the kind of preparation you have experience supporting. Avoid unverifiable guarantees or claims of official affiliation.

Keep your availability current. If you cannot take new candidates, pause requests rather than leaving candidates expecting a response. Use Help / contact if you need support with your account or application.
